One care session, separate results
When feeding several birds together, select every bird you cared for. Completion should still be stored separately so unfinished tasks remain visible.
Separate shared and individual information
Keep household routines apart from personal preferences.
- Shared: living area and family handoff
- Individual: food, water, preferences, and recent records
- Changes: which bird changed and when
See what remains today
moimoi gathers birds without a food or water record on the home screen and shows recent records by profile.
An example handoff for two birds
This is an invented handoff scenario. The morning carer offered food to Green and Yellow but changed only Green’s water. Record the completed tasks by bird rather than marking everything done.
Green: food offered and water changed. Yellow: food offered, water change unconfirmed. The next carer checks Yellow’s water directly and records what they do. Do not guess completion when nobody can confirm the task.
- First: tasks directly completed
- Then: bird and item still unconfirmed
- Last: what the next carer should check first
A shared bowl is not individual intake
You can record refilling a shared bowl, but that alone does not show that every bird ate. Leave individual intake unconfirmed if you did not observe it. This is a recording distinction, not an assessment of whether birds should be housed together.
Put the bird’s name first, then food, water, and directly observed response in a consistent order. Personal observations can stay in a notebook; an app completion check does not automatically store every detail of the handoff.
