moimoi Terms of Service
Effective: October 8, 2026
1. Purpose
moimoi provides companion-bird feeding and life records, care reminders, guides and related features. Some features, such as community, local-service and shopping features, are offered only in Korea. These terms and our Privacy Policy apply when you use moimoi. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use moimoi.
2. Accounts
You can use parts of moimoi without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old if our systems detect that you are connecting from the United States, and at least 14 years old everywhere else. In the United States, people under 13 cannot create an account and can use the app only in a read-only guest mode. People who use account features are responsible for securing their account and device.
3. Health information
Information in moimoi, including guides, the species encyclopedia, the symptom check and the emergency guide, is general reference material. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. The symptom check shows how urgent a situation may be; it does not tell you what is wrong with your bird, and we do not tell you which medicines to give or how much. If your bird seems sick or in danger, contact a licensed avian or exotic-animal veterinarian right away and do not delay care because of anything in the app. If you think your bird ate something toxic, call a poison control service.
4. Community safety
Content involving hate, violence, abuse, sexual material, illegal activity, or harassment is prohibited, as is posting sensitive personal information such as exact addresses or contact details. You can report posts and block authors. Blocking immediately removes that person's content from your feed. We review reported content without undue delay and may remove violations, restrict repeat offenders, or suspend accounts.
5. Service changes
Features may change or be discontinued to keep the service stable. Important changes will be announced in the service.
6. Data attribution
The weather reflected in the home illustration uses the Korea Meteorological Administration Short-term Forecast service via the Korean public data portal. Source: Korea Meteorological Administration. KMA data is used under KOGL Type 1 (attribution); temperature may be shown for reference, and we do not redistribute the data.
7. Moi expiry
Moi granted free for activities expires at the same time 3 calendar months after grant, in Korea Standard Time. If the corresponding date does not exist, the last day of that month applies. Balances held before activation receive a 3-month grace period from activation; the actual expiry is shown on the Moi page. The earliest expiring Moi is used first. A summary of Moi expiring in the next 30 days may be sent 7 days before the first expiry, at most once per 30 days. Receipt of a reminder does not change the expiry date. Moi and other in-app items have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not a payment. We do not send expiry reminders by push notification to accounts created through the United States age check, so check the Moi page for your expiry dates.
